Pacers…
Only the 160km runners will have a pacer option. Your pacer can only start at KM 109, which is the Cape Mabou Trailhead (cow pasture) on Cape Mabou Road.
Note: “muling” is prohibited. This means that your pacer cannot carry any gear for you and you can not borrow any gear from your pacer.

Solids: candy, chips, bananas, cookies, pickles and watermelon.
We’ll most likely have other oddball items thrown into the mix as well.
From 9pm to 6am, we will have some warm food through the night (broth & grilled cheese sandwiches).
Crewing Rule #1: If it doesn’t say “crew accessible”, your crew is not allowed.
Crewing Rule #2: “Receiving aid” anywhere outside the designated areas from your crew (or another crew) will result in a DQ.

Are you registered to run but can’t because of injury/illness/training issues/life in general? If you can volunteer on race weekend 2026 for 8 hours, we will defer your entry to the following year!
Since the 2025 Capes 100 was cancelled, we are allowing registrants to sell their spot for 2026 up to August 15th, 2025.
Transfers/selling your spot are not allowed after August 15th, 2025.
After August 15th, we’re back to the normal refund policy and no transfer policy.
Note 1: if you register for the 100 miler or 87k and want to drop down to a shorter distance, you will not get the difference in the registration fee back. Sorry.
Note 2: if you register for the 46k and want to ‘bump up’ to a longer distance, it can be done up to August 6th, 2026 (just send an e-transfer for the difference).
Note 3: Swag and prizing is only for the runners on the start list and the volunteers. We won’t be mailing or delivering any swag or drop bags. If there’s any leftovers, they will go to the volunteers and/or community members.
Easy peasy? 🙂
